Infrasound sensor
Compact broadband infrasound sensor designed for monitoring of alpine mass movements
Compact broadband infrasound sensor based on a differential pressure transducer with a frequency range from 0.1-100 Hz. The sensor is specially designed for monitoring alpine mass movements and is used for the debris flow/avalanche detection system MAMODIS. The output range fits also ideal for microcontroller inputs. Two different analogue output ranges and four different sensitivities are available:
| Type | Output range | Sensitivity | Full scale range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typ 1: | 0 - 3.3 V | 0,156 mV/mPa | ± 9,5 Pa |
| Typ 2: | 0 - 5 V | 0,131 mV/mPa | ± 11,4 Pa |
| Typ 3*: | 0 - 3.3 V | 0,077 mV/mPa | ± 19,5 Pa |
| Typ 4: | 0 - 5 V | 0,066 mV/mPa | ± 22,5 Pa |
*) Type 3 typically used for MAMODIS
Power supply: 3.3 - 24 V (depending on Type); Power consumption: max. 0.03 W
Sensor costs : € 790
